Michigan Virtual and Transfr have joined forces to bring educators and students an extraordinary VR career exploration experience!
Imagine allowing your students to enter a surgeon’s operating room, install fiber optic cable, or experience life as a welder—all without leaving the classroom. Virtual reality career exploration allows students to immerse themselves in various professions, inspiring them to envision their futures in ways that traditional career talks or textbooks can’t. By integrating VR into education, teachers can provide a safe, engaging, and hands-on approach that makes career exploration accessible and realistic, sparking curiosity and ambition in students and helping them discover pathways they may not have otherwise considered.
This pilot is open to any dedicated school champion eager to provide students with immersive opportunities to explore potential career paths and their educational requirements. The program runs from January through June 2025, offering a unique chance to bring career exploration to life in your classroom.
The Transfr Pilot provides everything you need to bring immersive career exploration to your students:
Note: Unlimited students can access the headsets. Multiple headsets are recommended for station rotations or simultaneous use. For continued use after the pilot, a minimum of 5 headsets is required.
We’re excited to offer this opportunity and will do our best to meet the needs of all interested districts. However, due to a limited number of headsets available at this price, we encourage districts to secure their participation early. A signed agreement is required to ensure program availability by January 6, 2025. We look forward to partnering with you!
Fill out the form below to express your interest in joining the Transfr Pilot Program. Share your details, including the number of headsets you’re interested in, and we’ll be in touch to help you bring immersive career exploration to your students!
